And now, the age of breast cancer is rejuvenating over time. Melanoma aggregates cancer cells that can proliferate very quickly in surrounding tissues, or can spread (metastasize) other parts of the body. Let’s find out about this type of cancer is this sister’s quintessence!

What is breast cancer?

Breast cancer is a malignant form of breast lump. A tumor may be benign (not cancer) or malignant (cancer). Most breast cancer cases start in milk ducts, a small portion develops in the milk sac or lobules.

Breast cancer, if detected and treated late, may have spread to the bones and other organs, the pain will multiply. Breast cancer mostly occurs in women. However, in a few cases, men can completely get this disease.

Breast cancer classification

Currently, there are 2 types of large breast cancer: invasive and uninvasive.

Uninvasive breast cancer: Cancer cells remain in a specific place of the breast, without dispersing into surrounding tissues, lobes or ducts.
– Invasive breast cancer: Cancer cells cross the barrier of normal breast tissue and spread to other parts of the body through blood vessels and lymph nodes.
– Breast cancer is also categorized based on where the tumor began to form, how the disease develops and other factors. Some other types of breast cancer include Paget’s nipple disease, breast sarcoma, myeloma, renal tubular carcinoma, mucosal cancer, metaplastic UT, adenocystic UT.

Signs and symptoms of breast cancer

Pain and tightness in the chest

The chest area feels dull. Specifically, there is a sharp pain from the left to right chest, due to the swelling that makes the breast tissue push and makes you feel a sharp pain. Track the time and location of pain and contact the doctor for an accurate consultation.

Itchy chest area

When cancerous cells grow quickly, they will interfere with blood circulation and stimulate the skin, making the skin red and rough, causing itchy pain in the chest area.

Breast shape and size change

Women should examine their breasts themselves. Breasts that are large, flowing and have an unusual shape are a “warning” for breast cancer, especially for women with dense breast tissue.

Stages of breast cancer

Stage 0

At this early stage, breast cancer cells are discovered by the doctor in the milk ducts. We call this non-invasive breast cancer. Or another way is called local mammary carcinoma. If the disease is found during this stage, the patient will be treated for breast cancer to prevent the spread of the disease. Often the patient just needs to remove the tumor and use additional radiation treatment. This is the easiest phase to treat, so be mindful of your body’s manifestations for timely medical examinations and conclusions and treatment from your doctor.

Stage 1

At stage 1A, the tumor is still small from 2cm in size and the lymph nodes have not been affected. When the disease has progressed to stage 1B there will be not only breast lumps but also tumors in the axillary lymph nodes. These are still two stages of early disease detection. Your doctor will use a surgical procedure that incorporates a number of therapies to treat the disease. Do not worry if you are concluded in stage 1 of the disease.

Stage 2

In stage 2, the tumors are 2 – 5cm in size and may not have spread to lymph nodes or to axillary nodes. This phase is divided into 2 phases: 2A and 2B.
– Stage 2A: There is no primary tumor and less than 4 lymph nodes. The tumor size is less than 2cm and less than 4 lymph nodes. The tumor is 2-4 cm and has not spread to lymph nodes and lymph nodes under the arm.
– Stage 2B: At stage, the tumor is from 2 to 4cm in size and finds cancer cell clusters in lymph nodes, from 1-3 lymph nodes in the armpit or near the breastbone. Or, the tumor size is greater than 5cm and has not invaded the lymph nodes.
Patients who detect disease in stage 2 will be combined with surgical treatments, radiation, chemotherapy and hormones.
When you detect stage 3 disease, the tumors in the body have spread 4 to 9 lymph nodes in the armpits or lymph nodes inside the breast.

Stage 3 breast cancer

In stage 3, the therapy for patients is similar to phase 2. However, it will take time and great effort from the patient and the whole medical team. If the doctor discovers a large primary tumor, chemotherapy may be needed to shrink the tumor before proceeding with surgery. This has been a dangerous period of warning for this wicked disease.

End stage

This stage is considered the final stage of cancer. Cancer cells have spread and metastasized to many organs in the patient’s body. Breast cancer often spreads to the bones, brain, lungs and liver. At this stage, your doctor will prescribe you full body treatment. This is a common method for patients being treated for advanced breast cancer.
